We have been in the business of management improvement
for the last 25 years. Among us we have managed large
factories, run newspaper departments, founded good-sized
service companies, worked at universities, and consulted
    internationally.  Some have
Ph.D.'s and some have B.A.'s.  Some have had their photos
on the cover of business magazines.

In all of our dealings we have clearly seen what makes some
organizations good, and what makes others great.

It isn't that the people at Toyota or G.E. are smarter that their
competitors, it's that these organizations invest in
developing the skills, attitudes, and processes of their
    management.

We are committed to bringing these abilities to whatever
company is willing to commit to greatness.

    The returns are huge.

PRINCIPALS
Steve Ashton

While studying for his Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Steve founded a residential  treatment
center for youth.  Today the organization sees 6,000 children a year with a staff of 350
professionals.

After finalizing his degree, Steve took a position with a Fortune 100 company, reporting to
senior staff as an Employee Survey & Human Issues Analyst under the Human
Resources umbrella.

By feasting on the challenges and rewards of business, Steve got the bug to strike out on
his own.  So he left big business to buy-out a small manufacturing company.  After
converting it from low to high tech, expanding from a regional to national presence,
growing sales by 6,000%, reducing cycle time from weeks to days, and attaining near-
zero defects, he sold the business.

Free then to help other businesses achieve the same results, Steve took a VP of
Manufacturing position with a company making large vehicles.  Here he:
Managed 2,000 employees
Managed a $200,000,000 budget
Reduced inventory by $8,000,000
Reduced cycle-times by 40%
Averaged 23% productivity increases

Steve is a consultant to businesses throughout the U.S. and internationally, coaching
individuals striving to attain both personal and business goals.  He has worked with
various types of firms:

Furniture manufacturing
Engineering firms
Breweries
Process manufacturers
Electrical
Electronics
Fiberglass
Metal fabrication
Ceramics
Aircraft and airlines
Photographic processing
Financial institutions
Plastics
Non-profits
Clinics and caregivers
